Meet the Dance Studio CFO Team

Jessica Miracle

Founder & Financial Consultant

Jess Miracle is the proud owner of Adagio Dance in Grand Junction, CO. She grew up dancing, has been teaching for 26 years, and has owned her studio for 12 years. Jessica also holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with an emphasis in Accounting (that’s fancy talk for an Accounting degree).

After graduating in 2003, she spent her days in CPA firms as a senior accountant in both tax and audit, while teaching dance in the evenings and weekends. In 2014, Jessica had the opportunity to open her own studio — and alongside it, a virtual bookkeeping firm.

In 2023, she became a More Than Just Great Dancing® Certified Coach and discovered how much she loved helping other studio owners with their finances. That passion led her to launch Dance Studio CFO in 2025 — combining her unique blend of dance experience and accounting expertise to help studio owners find clarity, confidence, and financial success.

Courtney Gross

Studio Software and Revenue Specialist

Courtney brings her deep knowledge of studio operations to Dance Studio CFO, specializing in connecting your studio software with QuickBooks Online. With years of experience running the front office at Adagio Dance, teaching preschool dance and gymnastics, and being a dedicated dance mom, she understands every angle of studio life — from parent concerns to staff challenges to revenue flow.

Her daughter has been dancing for several years and is part of the performance company, while her energetic son takes class purely for fun (and comic relief!). This real-life perspective makes Courtney especially tuned in to what studio families and staff need.

When she’s not helping studios streamline their numbers, Courtney is an animal lover with three dogs, four cats, and a big heart for fostering pets through local shelters.

Alex Martin

Studio Software and Expense Specialist

Alex makes sure every expense is entered and coded correctly in QuickBooks Online, helping studios keep their books clean and accurate. With her background at Adagio Dance — and as the proud dance mom of a dedicated performer and a soccer mom to her energetic son — she understands both the discipline of the studio world and the balancing act of busy families.

She brings a parent’s perspective and an eye for detail, making her especially skilled at keeping financials accurate and easy for studio owners to understand. Alex knows firsthand how much time, energy, and passion goes into raising dancers, and she brings that same dedication to helping studios thrive.

When she’s not organizing numbers, Alex enjoys time in her garden, hiking, mountain biking, snowboarding, and caring for her backyard chickens.

Kathy Gibbs

Month End Close Specialist

Kathy brings over 30 years of financial expertise to Dance Studio CFO, where she specializes in month-end close and bank reconciliations. A long-time Broker Specialist, she’s built her career on accuracy, detail, and a sharp eye for financial trends — skills she now puts to work helping studios feel confident in their books.

Though her professional background is in commercial real estate, Kathy has always had dance close by through her sister Jessica’s lifelong involvement in the industry. With degrees in business finance and computer studies, she also supports clients with dashboards and reporting to give a clearer picture of studio finances.

Outside of work, Kathy enjoys quiet time at home with her dog. She’s a dedicated, hard worker who takes pride in making sure every detail is done right.
